neven understand or imagine as a young
nboy. I was determined that my frequent
nblinking and self-imposed anxiety would
nnot prevent me from doing what I knew
nGod wanted me to do. At an early age I

nawakened to the knowledge that God
nwanted me to serve him in ways that
nwould make a positive difference in
npeople’s lives. So gradually, as my faith
ngrew I began to experience his unfolding
nrevelation of what he put me on this
nearth to do—lead, serve, and equip the
nlocal church.
